Aaron Tveit To Star In CBS’ New Summer Series ‘BrainDead’
Fresh off of the cancellation of his USA Network series Graceland, Aaron Tveit has signed on for a co-starring role opposite Mary Elizabeth Winstead (The Returned) in CBS' new summer series BrainDead, which hails from CBS Television Studios and The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King. CBS is tweaking their Fall schedule ever so slightly. In a departure from previously announced plans, the network has pushed their Jane Lynch comedy Angel From Hell to midseason and called up 2 Broke Girls to fill the Thursday night 9:30 time-slot as of November 12th. Matt Lanter is set for a run in with the FBI. The former 90210 star has booked a guest starring role on the second season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation spin-off CSI Cyber, which counts Patricia Arquette and Ted Danson amongst its cast members. Lanter will play an "attractive hacker" and really intriguing guy, who lives his life through the Internet and builds relationships with the people whose lives he hacks into. He hacks into people’s lives, then they become part of his life. CBS Picks Up ‘American Gothic’ Murder-Mystery Series From Steven Spielberg
Fresh off of cancelling Extant, CBS has given the greenlight to American Gothic, a 13 episode murder mystery drama from super-producer Steven Spielberg, his production company Amblin Television and CBS Television Studios. The series will debut in Summer 2016.
