CBS is continuing to rebuild the cast of Extant. Lyndon Smith and Nacar Zadegan have been tapped to join the cast of the network's summer drama series starring Halle Berry for its upcoming second season. The duo will recur in a handful of episodes when the show returns to CBS this July. 
Jaime Pressly (Jennifer Falls) has been upped to series regular status for the just-ordered third season of CBS's hit comedy series Mom, starring Anna Faris (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs) and Allison Janney (The West Wing). 
CBS has officially confirmed that they have renewed 'Mom' for a third season and 'Mike & Molly' for a sixth season, whilst simultaneously announcing that '2 Broke Girls' has also been picked up for next season. 
CBS is continuing their streak of early pick ups for top performing series by handing out renewals to Warner Bros. Television produced comedies Mom and Mike & Molly. 
Meet the new Supergirl. CBS and Warner Bros Television have released two first look images of Melissa Benoist in costume as the titular character in Supergirl, their new take on the DC Comics character which landed at the network with a series commitment back in September and is widely tipped for a spot on CBS' 2015-2016 schedule.
