2018 was a good year for the CBS UK channels. The portfolio of channels, which are owned by AMC Networks International and CBS Studios International, delivered a 2.7% share of commercial impacts - an all time high and 4% increase year-on-year. AMC Networks International UK has ordered a trio of crime documentaries from indie Peninsula Films for their CBS Reality channel, TVWise has learned. Two of the documentaries (Uncovering Melanie's Murderer and Slave To Love) are one-offs, while the third (The Day I Should Have Died) is a ten part series. 
CBS Reality's first original series kicked off with a bang last week. Killer Doctors On Death Row debuted on CBS Reality across two nights on Monday September 7th to some 234 000 viewers; giving the channel its best weekday audience so far this year. Additionally, Killer Doctors On Death Row was sampled by half a million viewers during its first week.
