Lisa McGrillis (Mum, Inspector George Gently) has been set as the co-lead in Bumps, BBC One's comedy pilot that was commissioned back in August as part of the BBC’s Comedy Playhouse strand. She will star opposite Amanda Redman (New Tricks, The Good Karma Hospital).
BBC One has handed out a pilot order to Bumps, a comedy from writers Lucy Montgomery and Rhys Thomas. Amanda Redman is attached to star in the lead role. The pilot has been commissioned as part of the BBC's Comedy Playhouse strand, which was most recently used to successfully pilot King Gary. Kudos are producing
