Close to a year after plans for the launch were first revealed, streaming service BritBox has now fully launched in the UK. One of the service's few exclusive titles at launch include the final two episodes from Midsomer Murders season 20, which wont air on ITV for several months. It's USP is having the "the biggest collection of British box-sets available in one place". The subscription cost has been set at £5.99

After launching the streaming service state-side last year, the BBC and ITV have confirmed that they are in advanced talks to launch BritBox on this side of the pond. The announcement that the BBC and ITV are now "working on a formal legal agreement" for the streaming service caps off months of rumours that they were looking to launch a British rival to Netflix and Amazon.
