Frank Spotnitz’s Big Light Poaches Eleven’s Jamie Hall For COO Role
Frank Spotnitz's indie Big Light Produtions has poached Eleven's Head of Production & Commercial Affairs Jamie Hall to serve in the newly created role of Chief Operations Officer, TVWise has learned. Jamie Hall will have a wide range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to, managing operations and overseeing the company’s strategic partnerships and financing for entertainment projects. He took up post last month and is based out of the company's London office.

Prolific producer Frank Spotnitz is getting another series on-air. CBS has given the green-light to Ransom, a thirteen episode thriller series starring Luke Roberts (Game Of Thrones) which hails from Spotnitz, his indie Big Light Production and David Vainola, TVWise has learned.
Big Light Productions is adding to their executive ranks. The independent production company set up by former The X-Files writer and executive producer Frank Spotnitz has hired European TV executive Lorraine Sullivan, TVWise has learned. She will be responsible for developing French and European television, film and documentary projects for the London based indie.
Frank Spotnitz's latest drama project Medici: Masters Of Florence is moving forward. The period piece set during the Italian Renaissance has landed an eight episode straight-to-series order from Italian broadcaster RAI and is set to enter production later this month in Italy. Dustin Hoffman (Luck) and Richard Madden (Game Of Thrones) are attached to star.
