It’s Official: Ben Stephenson To Exit BBC Drama Role For JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot
The BBC's drama boss Ben Stephenson is joining the ranks of Bad Robot Productions. After the better part of two months worth of rumblings and rumours, JJ Abrams' production company has confirmed that they have poached Stephenson to lead their TV division in Los Angeles. He will be responsible for the development and production of all of the company's television projects. 

The BBC has named Jo Street to the position of Acting Controller of Daytime. The executive, who has been serving as Commissioning Editor for Daytime, will take up post in January and will report to Charlotte Moore, Controller of BBC One.
After months of near silence, the BBC today revealed details of their controversial plan to shutter BBC Three as a linear broadcast service and move the channel online. 

BBC One has released the first trailer for their upcoming 90 minute adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot, which is set to air on New Years Day (Thursday January 1st) at 6:30pm.
