BBC Two has released the first teaser image from their upcoming three-part comedy series Decline And Fall. The image in question shows Jack Whitehall in costume as lead character Paul Pennyfeather. “I am extremely pleased to be a part of this amazing adaptation by James Wood”, Whitehall said in a statement. “I’ve been a fan of this book since I read it as a teenager and I just hope that I can do it justice.” 
BBC Two has released the first two-teaser images from the upcoming third and final season of the psychological thriller The Fall, which is set to premiere this Autumn. The two images in question show Gillian Anderson (The X-Files, American Gods) and Jamie Dornan (Once Upon A Time, Fifty Shades Of Grey) in character as Detetective Superintendent Stella Gibson, on secondment to the PSNI from London's Metropolitan Police Service, and Paul Spector, a serial killer who has been terrorising Belfast, respectively. 
The BBC has tapped Head of Documentaries Commissioning Patrick Holland to serve in the newly created role of BBC Two Editor, TVWise has learned. 
The second season of BBC Two's transgender sitcom Boy Meets Girl will premiere on Wednesday July 6th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
BBC Two has handed out a second season renewal to Upstart Crow, their William Shakespeare comedy which hails from veteran comedy writer Ben Elton and stars David Mitchell, TVWise has learned. The show's second season, which will consist of six half-hour episodes, is set to air in 2017. 
Nikki Amuka-Bird (Luther) and Life In Squares star Phoebe Fox have been set as the co-leads in NW, BBC Two's 90 minute adaption of the Zadie Smith novel, TVWise has learned.
