BBC Two Orders Michael Jackson Documentary ‘The Rise And Fall’
BBC Two has ordered Michael Jackson: The Rise And Fall, a new documentary from Jacques Peretti exploring the life of Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson: The Rise And Fall take us from his Jackson's years with The Jackson 5 in Gary, Indiana, to his time in New York - and the notorious nightclub Studio 54 - to his relationship with the media, retreat into fantasy and creation of Neverland, to the preparations for his This Is It concerts shortly before his death.

BBC Two's Richard Gere (Chicago, Pretty Woman) and Helen McCrory (Peaky Blinders, Harry Potter) fronted drama series MotherFatherSon will premiere on Wednesday March 6th at 9pm, it has been announced.
Colin Farrell (Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them, True Detective) has been tapped to star in The North Water, BBC Two's four-part adaptation of the novel by Ian McGuire. He will play Henry Drax. “Colin Farrell will bring a blend of brutality and humanity to Andrew Haigh’s superb adaptation of this savage novel", said the BBC's Controller of Drama Piers Wenger. "The North Water is a brooding and resonant story which is set to grip BBC Two viewers.”
BBC Two is losing a Dragon. Jenny Campbell is exiting Dragons' Den at the end of the show's current (sixteenth) season. Her final episode will air on BBC Two on Sunday February 3rd. The BBC has already picked up a seventeenth season of Dragons' Den. The corporation said that casting for a new Dragon would take place ahead of production on the new season, which is set to get underway in the spring.
