BBC Two has ordered The Responder, a six episode drama series that explores the extremes of modern day policing. Martin Freeman (Fargo, Sherlock) is attached to star in the lead role.
The Responder follows Chris (Martin Freeman), an urgent response officer tackling a series of six night shifts on the beat in Liverpool. 
Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley, Downton Abbey), Lorraine Ashbourne (The Crown, Cheat), Jayde Adams (Crazy Delicious) and James Baxter (Still Open all Hours, Emmerdale) have been tapped to star opposite Sophie Willan in BBC Two's comedy pilot Alma's Not Normal. 
The third season of Snowfall will receive its UK premiere on BBC Two on Saturday February 1st at 10:30pm with a double-bill, it has been announced. 
The fifth season of Inside No. 9 will premiere on BBC Two on Monday February 3rd at 10pm, it has been announced. 
The Windermere Children will premiere on BBC Two on Monday January 27th at 9pm, it has been announced. BBC Two has released the trailer for the fifth season of Inside No. 9, which is set to premiere later this year. 
Here's one HBO original that won't be heading to Sky Atlantic. BBC Two has boarded the U.S. premium cable network's international finance drama Industry as a co-producer and will now serve as the UK broadcaster. 
Good Omens will premiere on BBC Two on Wednesday January 15th at 9pm, it has been announced.
