BBC One & BBC Three Set UK Premiere Date For ‘Killing Eve’
BBC America's Killing Eve will receive its UK premiere on BBC One on Saturday September 15th at 9:15pm, it has been announced. Following the broadcast of the series premiere on BBC One, all 8 episodes will be made available to stream on BBC Three (via BBC iPlayer). The series will also continue to air in its Saturday slot on BBC One. 
Andrew Scott, best known for his role as Moriarty on Sherlock, is joining the cast of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's BBC Three comedy Fleabag for its second season, which has now started filming. Details about the character he will be playing are being kept under wraps. "I can’t believe they let me do this AGAIN. I’m so happy to be back with the incredible Fleabag team and I’m as surprised as anyone about where this series has taken us… thank God for Andrew Scott", Fleabag creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge said in a statement.
A documentary about 17 year old racing driver Billy Monger and a UK adaptation of Lifetime's format The Rap Game were among the commissions announced today by BBC Three Controller Damian Kavanagh at his Meet The Controller session at the Edinburgh TV Festival.
Three female authored dramas are coming to the BBC. The PSB has commissioned three new dramas from Nicole Taylor, Michaela Coel (pictured, right) and Sally Rooney. The announcement comes on the same day that Coel is set ti deliver the McTaggart lecture at the Edinburgh TV Festival. The three series will go out on BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Three, respectively. “I am honoured to be today announcing three brand new and contrasting dramas for BBC One, Two and Three", said the BBC's Controller of Drama Piers Wenger.
The fourth season of Cuckoo will premiere on BBC Three on Thursday August 2nd from 10am, when all six episodes will be available.
Several months after introducing a third editorial pillar - namely for content that qualifies as "feel-good, entertaining propositions" - BBC Three has commissioned their first two series under the expanded remit. Makeover series Glow Up, which is at its heart a competition to look for the next big make-up star of tomorrow, and relationship series Couples On The Couch have both been picked up at the online channel. Glow Up has received an order for eight episodes, while six episodes have been ordered for Couples On The Couch. 
Newcomer Chance Perdomo and Craig Parkinson (Line Of Duty) have been set to star in BBC Three's one-off factual drama Killed By My Debt. Chance Perdomo takes on the key role of Jerome Rogers, while Craig Parkinson plays The Bailiff. Killed By Me Debt tells the true story of Jerome Rogers, a 19-year-old motorbike courier from Croydon, who sees two unpaid £65 traffic fines escalating to more than a thousand pounds. Unravelling under the pressure of his mounting debt and with his only source of income - his bike - clamped, Jerome took his own life.
