BBC Three Orders ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ UK Adaptation
RuPaul's Drag Race is getting a UK adaptation. BBC Three has ordered a local version of the global hit series, which is set to air in 2019. World Of Wonder are producing. Eight episodes have been ordered for the show's first season. “It is a dream come true to extend our royal family to the United Kingdom with our partners at BBC Three. I am beyond excited to celebrate the massive charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of the Queen’s queens" RuPaul said. 
The fifth season of Cuckoo will premiere on BBC Three on Friday January 4th, when the complete season will be available to stream. 
BBC Three has released the trailer for the second season of Clique, which is set to premiere on Saturday November 10th.
Following on from the successful launch of season one, the BBC has secured the UK rights to the second season of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's BBC America series Killing Eve from international distributor Endeavor Content. As was the case with season one, the show's second season will air in a linear slot on BBC One and stream as a box-set on BBC Three. Production on season two is now underway ahead of a 2019 premiere.
Gabrielle Creevy (Casualty) and Jo Hartley (Bliss) have been set to star in In My Skin, BBC Three's upcoming Comedy Slice from Expectation Entertainment - the independent production company set up last year by Tim Hincks and Peter Fincham.
After launching as a short-form series, Eating With My Ex is getting a full long-form series on BBC Three. The online channel has ordered ten thirty-minute episodes, which will include a celebrity special. Eating With My Ex reunites former couples over dinner to pick over the bones of their failed relationships. The original series, in which episodes ran seven minutes, earned a BAFTA nomination and was a huge success for BBC Three, racking up nearly 20 million views.
