Molly Windsor, Laura Fraser & Jennifer Spence Set As Leads In Alibi’s ‘Traces’

Molly Windsor (Three Girls, Cheat), Laura Fraser (The Missing, Breaking Bad) and Jennifer Spence (You Me Her, Travelers) have been set as the leads in Traces, Alibi's six episode drama series from Val McDermid, Amelia Bulimore and Red Production Company. Rounding out the cast is Martin Compston (Line Of Duty), Laurie Brett (EastEnders), Vincent Regan (Delicious, The White Princess), Michael Nardone (Shetland, Silent Witness) and John Gordan Sinclair (Marple, Ill Behaviour).

ITV Orders Landmark Prince Charles Documentary Series ‘Inside The Duchy’ From BBC Studios

ITV has ordered Inside The Duchy, a two-part documentary series about Prince Charles, that will feature exclusive interviews with HRH The Prince of Wales, to mark his 50th working year as The Duke of Cornwall. Inside The Duchy will offer an unprecedented insight into The Duchy of Cornwall, which covers more than 130,000 acres across 23 counties, touching coast, countryside and city. The series follows His Royal Highness, who, in his role as a landlord, farmer, and custodian of the Estate, is very much the hands-on inspiration behind ‘The Duchy Family’.

BBC Two’s ‘Dragons’ Den’ Adds Sara Davies For Season 17

BBC Two has found their new Dragon. Sara Davies, founder of worldwide crafting company Crafter’s Companion, is joining BBC Two's Dragons' Den for its recently ordered seventeenth season. Sara Davies replaces Jenny Campbell who exited earlier this year after two seasons on the show.

Alibi Orders Cat & Mouse Thriller ‘We Hunt Together’ From Gaby Hull & BBC Studios

Alibi has ordered their second original drama. Mere months after moving into scripted originals with Traces, the UKTV owned and operated channel has given the green-light to We Hunt Together, a six episode cat and mouse thriller from Cheat scribe Gaby Hull and BBC Studios. We Hunt Together begins with the collision of two extraordinary people; Babeni (AKA Baba), a former child soldier desperate to suppress his predisposition for violence, and Freddy, a magnetic and disarmingly charming free spirit. When Baba rescues Freddy from an attack following a date that has turned sour, something dark is ignited in them both.

BBC Studios Developing Marilyn Monroe Drama From ‘Trust Me’ Creator Dan Sefton

BBC Studios is teaming with Seven Seas Films and Trust Me creator Dan Sefton for a new drama series exploring the last six months of Marilyn Monroe's life. The series is based on Keith Badman’s book The Final Years of Marilyn Monroe: The Shocking True Story. The executive producers are Anne Pivcevic for BBC Studios and Simon Lupton for Seven Seas Films.

UKTV Split Up Confirmed, Marcus Arthur Replaces Darren Childs As CEO

As has been rumoured for months, UKTV as it presently exists is being split up. Owners Discovery and BBC Studios have reached a deal that will see Discovery take control of Good Food, Home and Really, while BBC Studios assumes full ownership of Alibi, Dave, Drama, Eden, Gold, Yesterday and W. When the deal closes, BBC Studios' Marcus Arthur will replace Darren Childs as UKTV's CEO.
