BBC Three’s ‘In My Skin’ Heads To Hulu
In My Skin is crossing the pond. Hulu has acquired the BBC Three and BBC Wales' dark comedy series after striking a deal with international distributor BBC Studios. In My Skin will premiere state-side on the streaming service on Thursday June 4th. 
BBC One is bringing back Alan Bennett's Talking Heads. The BBC's flagship channel is set to remake ten episodes of the 1990s series, while also producing two new episodes that were penned by Bennett last year. Jodie Comer, Monica Dolan, Martin Freeman, Tamsin Greig, Sarah Lancashire, Lesley Manville, Lucian Msamati, Maxine Peake, Rochenda Sandall, Kristin Scott Thomas, Imelda Staunton and Harriet Walter are attached to star.
BBC Two has handed out a two-season renewal to anthology series Inside No. 9. The show's sixth and seventh seasons will each consist of six episodes. The pick up comes ahead of tonight's season five finale.
Fresh on the heels of the season twelve finale, BBC One has announced that Doctor Who will return for a Christmas special later this year. The special will feature the return of The Doctor's iconic enemies, The Daleks. The special is titled 'Revolution Of The Daleks'.
BBC Three has renewed Liam Williams' autobiographical comedy series Ladhood for a second season. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's second season.
After piloting the project last year as a comedy short, BBC Two has picked up a full series of Diane Morgan's Mandy. Six episodes, running fifteen minutes each, have been commissioned for the show's first season.
The BBC is extending the run of Silent Witness to a quarter of a century. BBC One has renewed the long-running crime drama for an additional two seasons - the show's twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth. The renewal comes on the heels of the show's twenty-third season wrapping it's ten episode run. Season 23 was a rating success foor BBC One, averaging over 7 million viewers per week and ranking as one of the iPlayer’s most-requested shows.
