EXCLUSIVE: Sister Boniface will be making a return to BBC One after all. Sources tell TVWise that BBC One is in talks to acquire the UK rights to Father Brown spin-off series The Sister Boniface Mysteries for their daytime schedule. Production on both Father Brown season 9 and The Sister Boniface Mysteries was impacted by the COVID pandemic, but I'm hearing both are now on track to premiere either later this year or in early 2022.

BBC One is adding to the cast of Silent Witness. Jason Wong (The Gentleman, Chimerica) has joined the cast of the long-running crime drama for its twenty-fourth season. He will play Adam Yuen, a confident, bright and keen pathologist who’s constantly striving to be the best. The cast addition comes after two main cast members, Liz Carr and Richard Lintern, exited the series at the end of season twenty-three.

UKTV's Alibi channel has renewed their original drama series We Hunt Together for a second season. Six episodes have been ordered for season two, which is set to premiere in 2021. The renewal comes after the show's first season premiered to an audience of 731k viewers and on the heels of BBC Studios lining up a major licensing deal for the series with Showtime in the United States.
