David Suchet To Narrate BBC One’s ‘Peter Pan Goes Wrong’
David Suchet (Agatha Christie's Poirot) has signed on as the narrator for BBC One's Peter Pan Goes Wrong, a special adaptation of the theatre production from Mischief Theatre which is set to air this Christmas. Suchet, who is coming off of a starring role in BBC Two's Decline And Fall, will appear on-screen as the narrator who finds himself caught up in the mayhem. 
BBC Two is re-teaming with Child 44 author Tom Rob Smith, who created the channel's espionage drama London Spy, for eight episode political thriller series MotherFatherSon, TVWise has learned.
BBC One is re-teaming with Andrew Davies, who most recently penned the channel's six-part War & Peace event series, for an adaptation of Victor Hugo's Les Misérables, TVWise has learned.
The BBC has tapped industry veteran Peter Salmon to run their new production division BBC Studios, the corporation announced on Monday. He will take up post as the first Director of BBC Studios later this year.
