Death In Paradise is getting a Christmas special. BBC One has commissioned a 90 minute festive episode to air this December, ahead of the premiere of the show's eleventh season in early 2022. Danny John-Jules, who exited the show back in 2018, is set to reprise his role as Office Dwayne Myers in the special. 
The second season of King Gary will premiere on BBC One on Friday July 30th at 9:30pm, it has been announced. 
BBC One and Red Planet Pictures has released two first look images of new series regular Shantol Jackson (Yardie, Sprinter) in the upcoming eleventh season of Death In Paradise. 
The second season of Baptiste will premiere on BBC One on Sunday July 18th at 9pm, it has been announced. In addition to announcing the premiere date, the BBC also released the trailer and key art for season two. 
The BBC has acquired the UK rights to HBO Max's Gossip Girl. The series will air on both BBC One and BBC iPlayer later this year. In addition to acquiring the new series, the BBC has also acquired the original CW series. 
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (The Fix), Jamie Ward (Tyrant), Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Motherland), Simon Harrison (Endeavour) and Amber Fitzgerald-Woolfe have joined the cast of BBC One's His Dark Materials for its third and final season. 
BBC One has ordered The Trick, a one-off drama that tells the real life of the so-called 'Climategate Scandal' from 2009. Jason Watkins (McDonald & Dodds, W1A) is attached to star in the lead role. 
Shantol Jackson (Yardie, Sprinter) has joined the cast of BBC One's Death In Paradise as a series regular for its upcoming eleventh season. Jackson will play Sergeant Naomi Thomas, a gifted officer who has arrived from a neighbouring island to join the Saint Marie Police.
