Sam Riley & Kate Bosworth Set As Leads In BBC One’s ‘SS-GB’
After months of rumours, BBC One has confirmed that Sam Riley (Maleficent) and Kate Bosworth (Still Alice) have been set as the leads in SS-GB, their upcoming five episode alternate-history drama series based on the novel of the same name by Len Deighton. Production gets underway this month for a 2016 premiere. 
After bringing back the character in a Christmas special last year, BBC One has given the green-light to a new hour-long Professor Branestawm TV movie titled The Further Adventures Of Professor Branestawn.
BBC One and Magic Light Pictures have released the first image of their upcoming adaptation of Stick Man, based on the kids book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, which features the voices of Martin Freeman and Hugh Bonnveville and is set to air this Christmas.
BBC One has ordered Stick Man, a half-hour animated adaptation of the kids book of the same name which hails from Room On The Broom production company Magic Light Pictures. The one-off special will air on BBC One this Christmas.
BBC One has given the green-light to Billionaire Boy, a one-off hour-long adaptation of the David Walliams kids novel of the same name, which is set to air this Christmas and has John Thomson and Elliot Sprakes (pictured, right) attached to star.
BBC One has released the first trailer for River, their new drama series from The Hour scribe Abi Morgan which is set to premiere on Tuesday October 13th at 9pm.
