In what is a uniquely structured agreement with Endeavor Content, the BBC has acquired the UK rights to BBC America's new original drama series Killing Eve, which hails from Flebag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The package gives the Beeb the rights to air the show on both BBC One and BBC Three. 
The ninth season of Not Going Out will premiere on BBC One on Thursday March 8th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
BBC One has given the green-light to For Facts Sake, a new quiz show that will be hosted by Mrs Brown's Boys creator and star Brendan O’Carroll. The series, which is expected to premiere later this year, will also feature members of the Mrs Brown's Boys cast. 
BBC One's psychological thriller Trust Me has been renewed for a four episode second season and is becoming something of an anthology series. While the show will be back for a new run, it will feature a new story and an entirely new cast. 
Nigel Fletcher is getting an early release. BBC One has cancelled Porridge, the sequel series to the classic sitcom, after only one season, TVWise has confirmed. 
Strike: Career Of Evil – the third adaptation of JK Rowling’s Cormoran Strike series of novels – will premiere on BBC One on Sunday February 25th at 9pm, it has been announced.
