BBC One Renews ‘Still Open All Hours’ For Sixth Season
Mere days before this year's Christmas special is set to air, BBC One has handed out a sixth season renewal to their Sir David Jason fronted comedy series Still Open All Hours. The sixth season will once again consist of seven episodes, one of which will be a Christmas special.
The twenty-second season of BBC One’s long-running crime drama Silent Witness will premiere on Tuesday January 8th at 9pm, it has been announced.
The eighth season of Death In Paradise will premiere on BBC One on Thursday January 10th at 9pm, it has been announced.
BBC One has released the trailer for the Doctor Who New Year’s special, which is set to premiere on New Year’s Day (Tuesday January 1st) at 7pm.
BBC News and former Crimewatch presenter Fiona Bruce has been officially confirmed as the next host of Question Time. She succeeds David Dimbleby, who earlier this year announced he was stepping down as host after some 25 years. Fiona Bruce will take over as host on January 10th, 2019. Bruce was selected as the new host following an extensive search. The selection process for the role included candidates each hosting a pilot episode of the programme, including panellists and a live audience. Word that she had been picked as the new host first leaked in late-November.
BBC One has released the trailer for their David Walliams adaptation The Midnight Gang, which is set to premiere on Boxing Day (Wednesday December 26th) at 7:30pm.
