Ron Perlman Joins BBC One’s Surveillance Thriller ‘The Capture’

Ron Perlman (Sons Of Anarchy, Hand Of God, StartUp) has joined the cast of The Capture, BBC One's six episode surveillance thriller from Cyberbully and Blackout scribe Ben Chanan. Perlman joins previously announced series leads Callum Turner (War And Peace, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald) and Holliday Grainger (Strike, Cinderella). Production on the series is now underway in London.

BBC One Renews ‘Call The Midwife’ Through Season 11

Call The Midwife is sticking around until at least 2022. BBC One has picked up an additional two seasons of the period drama, renewing it through to season eleven. They had previously ordered season nine as part of a three-season renewal back in 2016. Both seasons will consist of eight episodes. Two further Christmas specials have also been commissioned.

BBC One has ordered The Goes Wrong Show, a six episode TV adaptation of Mischief Theatre's The Play That Goes Wrong. The series order comes after the BBC previously commissioned and aired TV adaptations of Mischief's Peter Pan Goes Wrong and A Christmas Carol Goes Wrong.

Independent production company Hello Halo's Fashions Dirty Secrets and MisFITS Like Us have scored a number of international deals. Fashion's Dirty Secrets has been sold to broadcasters in Belgium, Finland, Eire, Holland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Africa, Iran and Korea; while the MisFITS Like Us format has been sold to DR in Denmark and TVNZ in New Zealand.

BBC One Sets Premiere Date For ‘Jerk’
