Ishaan Khatter, Tabu & Tanya Maniktala To Star In BBC One’s ‘A Suitable Boy’
Ishaan Khatter (Beyond the Clouds, Dhadak), Tabu (The Namesake, Life of Pi, Andhadhun) and Tanya Maniktala have been set to star in A Suitable Boy, BBC One's six episode adaptation of Vikram Seth’s classic novel. The series is filming at a number of locations across India including Lucknow and Maheshwar ahead of a 2020 premiere. 

BBC One has set the cast for Elizabeth Is Missing. Sophie Rundle (Gentleman Jack, Peaky Blinders), Helen Behan (The Virtues, This is England) and Maggie Steed (EastEnders, Paddington 2) are set to star opposite Glenda Jackson in the feature length adaptation of Emma Healey's novel.
Rufus Sewell (The Man In The High Castle, Victoria) has been set as the lead in The Pale Horse, BBC One's upcoming two-part Agatha Christie adaptation from Mammoth Screen and Agatha Christie Limited.
BBC One has ordered Best Interests, a four episode drama series from Jack Thorne (Harry Potter & The Cursed Child, His Dark Materials) and recently launched indie Chapter One Pictures. Best Interests tells the story of a family driven apart by having to make choices no parent would ever want to make. Andrew and Nicci’s daughter, Marnie, has a life-threatening condition. The doctors believe it is in her best interests to be allowed to die, but her loving family disagree. And so begins a fight that will take them through every stage of a legal process, as they struggle to contemplate this huge decision. Who decides? And in whose best interests will it be? 
The second season of Hold The Sunset will premiere on BBC One on Friday August 2nd at 9pm, it has been announced.
