Ardal O’Hanlon To Exit BBC One’s ‘Death In Paradise’ In Season 9
Death In Paradise is losing another lead actor. Ardal O’Hanlon, who plays Detective Inspector Jack Mooney, is set to exit the series after three seasons. His final appearance will be during the show's ninth season, which is set to air in 2020. No word just yet on who will replace him as the new lead. The series has already been renewed for season ten.

Casualty is losing Duffy for good. Cathy Shipton, who has played Lisa ‘Duffy’ Duffin since the pilot in 1986, is exiting the BBC Studios produced series. She is one of the show's longest running cast members. While Duffy has come and gone in the Emergency Department throughout the years, this will be the character's final departure. Cathy's final appearance as Duffy will air in 2020.

BBC One has released the trailer for their anticipated The War Of The Worlds adaptation, which is set to premiere this autumn. The War Of The Worlds is set in Edwardian England and follows follows George and his partner Amy as they attempt to defy society and start a life together. It tells their story as they face the escalating terror of an alien invasion, fighting for their lives against an enemy beyond their comprehension.
