Ralf Little Set As New Lead In BBC One’s ‘Death In Paradise’

Death In Paradise has found its new DI. Ralf Little (The Cafe, The A Word) has been set as the new lead in BBC One's Caribbean-set crime drama. He replaces Ardal O'Hanlon who is poised to exit the series in its upcoming ninth season. Little will play Detective Inspector Neville Parker, who is reluctantly dispatched to the fictional island of Saint Marie to investigate the suspicious death of a woman from his home city, Manchester.

The BBC and Red Planet Pictures have released an image teasing the new lead actor who will replace Ardal O'Hanlon as the new Detective Inspector on Death In Paradise. As TVWise reported last week, O'Hanlon is poised to exit the Caribbean set crime drama and will make his final appearance as Detective Inspector Jack Mooney during the show's ninth season, which is set to premiere in early 2020.
