BBC One Acquires UK Rights To HBO Max’s ‘Love Life’
The BBC has acquired the UK Rights to HBO Max's Anna Kendrick fronted romantic comedy anthology series Love Life after striking a deal with international distributor Lionsgate Television. The series will premiere later this year on BBC One. It will also be available as a box set on the iPlayer. 
Worzel Gummidge is returning to the Beeb. BBC One has ordered a further episode of the Mackenzie Crook fronted series to air later this year. It follows on from last year's the two-part series that aired as part of BBC One's Christmas schedule.
BBC One's David Nicholls adaptation Us will premiere on Sunday September 20th at 9pm, it has been announced.
The second season of Ghosts will premiere on BBC One on Monday September 21st at 8:30pm, it has been announced.
BBC One has ordered The Cleaner, a six episode comedy series about a crime scene cleaner that hails from Greg Davies (Man Down, Taskmaster). The Cleaner tells the story of Paul ‘Wicky’ Wickstead (Greg Davies), who is a state-certified cleaning technician with a very special field of work: as a crime scene cleaner he is responsible for the removal of any signs of death.
The A Word is getting a spin-off. BBC One has ordered Ralph And Katie, a spin-off of the Peter Bowker penned drama series. Leon Harrop and Sarah Gordy are on-board to reprise their roles from The A Word. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's first season.
BBC One has ordered The Following Events Are Based On A Pack Of Lies, a six episode con-artist thriller from sibling writing duo Penelope Skinner and Ginny Skinner.
