The BBC has acquired the UK rights to HBO Max's Gossip Girl. The series will air on both BBC One and BBC iPlayer later this year. In addition to acquiring the new series, the BBC has also acquired the original CW series. 
The Watch is crossing the pond. The BBC has acquired the UK rights to the BBC America original series after striking a deal with international distributor and sister company BBC Studios. The series will debut on the iPlayer on Thursday July 1st and will subsequently get a linear run on BBC Two later this year. 
Bates Motel is coming to the Beeb. The BBC has acquired all five seasons of the Psycho prequel and plan to make the series available as a box-set on the BBC iPlayer later this year. 
Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists will receive its UK premiere on the BBC iPlayer on Saturday January 16th, it has been announced. 
The BBC has acquired the UK rights to The CW's short-lived Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. The complete series will be available to stream on the BBC iPlayer on Saturday July 25th. The CW cancelled Katy Keene earlier this week after a single thirteen episode season. 
The Cul De Sac is coming to the UK. The BBC has acquired all three seasons of the New Zealand teen sci-fi drama starring Riverdale's K.J. Apa after striking a deal with international distributor Jetpack Distribution. The BBC will make the series available as an exclusive box-set on the iPlayer. 
BBC One has found the two leads for The Mallorca Files. Elen Rhys (Broadchurch) and Julian Looman (Cop Stories) have been tapped to to star in the ten part daytime drama series which hails from The Good Karma Hospital and Trust Me creator Dan Sefton.
