BriteSpark Films Hires Channel 4’s Tom Porter As New Director Of Programmes
BriteSpark Films has hired Channel 4 Commissioning Editor Tom Porter to serve as their new Director of Programmes. The appointment comes after the Argonon Group acquired 100% of the indie, which was initially set up by Nick Godwin as a joint venture with Argonon. As Director of Programmes, Tom will help develop and grow the business taking it to the next level. He will oversee the new slate of programming as well as bring in new and popular commissions. His focus at BriteSpark will be on the UK market. 

Facebook Watch has ordered Mormon Love, a documentary series exploring teen life in the LDS Mormon community in Utah from the Argonon owned indie Leopard USA. The series will be available on Facebook from Sunday January 13th.
Argonon Group's indie Remedy Productions has hired former Buccaneer Media exec Denis O'Connor to serve as Chief Creative Officer. The appointment, which is effective from June 11th, comes mere months after the company promoted Bernie Costello to serve as Managing Director.
Remedy Productions has promoted long-time executive Bernie Costello to serve as the new Managing Director of the Argonon owned indie. The promotion, which is effective immediately, will see Costello assume overall responsibility for the company. 
Poppy Lee Friar and Jane Asher have been cast in leading roles in CBBC's series EVE.
