ITV Cancels ‘Wild Bill’ After One Season
It's one and done for Wild Bill. ITV has cancelled the Rob Lowe fronted series after a single six episode season, TVWise has confirmed. The series wrapped its run on the channel back in July 2019. BBC Radio Lincolnshire were the first to report the news.
Apple TV+ has released the trailer for their upcoming period comedy Dickinson, which is set to premiere later this year. Dickinson is set in the nineteenth century and takes viewers into the world of Emily Dickinson, audaciously exploring the constraints of society, gender, and family through the perspective of a budding writer who doesn't fit in to her own time through her imaginative point of view. "Dickinson" is Emily's coming-of-age story - one woman's fight to get her voice heard.
Rachael Stirling (The Bletchley Circle, Detectorists), Angela Griffin (Ordinary Lies, Brief Encounters), Tony Pitts (Peaky Blinders, Line Of Duty) and Bronwyn James (Harlots, The ABC Murders) have joined the cast of ITV's Rob Lowe (The West Wing) fronted police drama Wild Bill.
