Amazon Prime Video UK Drops TNT’s ‘Animal Kingdom’
EXCLUSIVE: Animal Kingdom has lost its UK broadcaster. Sources are telling TVWise that Amazon Prime Video has opted not to renew their licensing agreement for the Ellen Barkin fronted drama. Warner Bros. International Television Distribution handles global sales. 
TNT has released the trailer for the fourth season of Animal Kingdom, which is set to premiere state-side on Tuesday May 28th at 9/8c. Amazon Prime Video UK holds rights to the series on this side of the pond, but have not yet set a UK premiere date for season four.
Turner Broadcasting is keeping three of their newer series. TNT has picked up their Ellen Barkin fronted drama series Animal Kingdom, while sister network TBS has handed out renewals to Angie Tribeca and Wrecked. Animal Kingdom and Wrecked will be back for a second season, while Angie Tribeca will be back for a third.
TNT has cast the first two leads for Animal Kindom. The New Normal & Happyish star Ellen Barkin and Last Resort's Scott Speedman have been tapped for major roles in the hour-long drama pilot from John Wells Productions and Warner Horizon Television which is based on the 2010 feature film of the same name.
