‘American Dad’ Renewed For Two More Seasons At TBS

American Dad is staying put on TBS for the foreseeable future. The Turner owned cable network has ordered a further two seasons of the Seth MacFarlane created animated comedy series, which relocated from Fox to TBS in 2014. The multi-year renewal - which is for some 44 episodes split over two seasons - ensures that American Dad will remain on air through to 2018.

FOX UK To Fast Track ‘American Dad’, Will Air Season 12 Close Behind U.S. Debut

FOX UK is to fast-track the Seth MacFarlane comedy American Dad for UK audiences, TVWise can reveal. Traditionally, new seasons have aired on FOX UK in Q1, approximately a year behind the U.S. broadcasts. But for the first time, the channel is planning to air the new season close behind US broadcaster TBS, in order to capitalise on the fact that they hold first window rights.
