Bruce Greenwood To Play Gil Garcetti In FX’s ‘American Crime Story’
FX is putting the finishing touches on the casting for American: Crime Story. Star Trek Into Darkness alum Bruce Greenwood has joined the new anthology series from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk as a series regular. He will play Gil Garcetti, the Los Angeles County District Attorney who prosecuted O.J. Simpson for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. 
Selma Blair (Anger Management) has joined the cast of American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson, FX's 10 episode anthology series from American Horror Story executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. 

John Travolta, whose last television starring role was Welcome Back, Kotter in the 1970s, has signed on to star as defense attorney Robert Shapiro in FX's newest anthology series American Crime Story, which is an off-shoot of their American Horror Story franchise.
Friends alum David Schwimmer is set to star in American Crime Story, FX's new anthology series which is an off-shoot of their American Horror Story franchise. 
FX has handed a 10 episode straight-to-series order to American Crime Story, a companion series to American Horror Story which hails from Ryan Murphy and will explore a different true crime story each season.
