Russell Tovey, Alistair Petrie & Douglas Hodge Cast In John Le Carré Adaptation ‘The Night Manager’
Russell Tovey (Banished), Alistair Petrie (Utopia) and Douglas Hodge (The Town) have joined the cast of the John le Carré adaptation The Night Manager, which is a co-production between BBC One and AMC. The series is set to bow on both sides of the Atlantic in 2016. 
AMC is finally coming to the UK. The channel, which is behind such shows as Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead, will finally be launching in the UK this September after AMC Networks International agreed a multi-year carriage deal with BT, who will make the channel available via YouView.
AMC has announced that the fifth and final season of western drama Hell On Wheels will kick off on July 18th at 9pm, returning to the Saturday night time-slot it has occupied since the third season back in 2013.
Dominic Copper has closed a deal to play the lead in AMC's drama pilot Preacher, an adaptation of the controversial 1990s comic book series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon.
David Harewood, who played CIA Deputy Director David Estes on the first two seasons of the Showtime counter-terrorism drama Homeland, has joined the cast of the BBC One and AMC co-production The Night Manager, which is being toplined by Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston.
Halt & Catch Fire is on its way back. AMC has announced that the second season of their drama series starring Lee Pace, Scoot McNairy, Mackenzie Davis and Kerry Bishé will premiere on Sunday May 31st at 10/9c.
AMC is moving forward with their Walking Dead spin-off. The untitled "companion" project, which has been in the works at the network since 2013, has been officially green-lit to series with a two season order. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's first season, while the episode order for the second season has yet to be determined.
