AMC has renewed their 1980s tech drama Halt & Catch Fire for a third season, TVWise has learned. 10 episodes have been ordered for the show's third season, which is expected to debut in 2016. 
After being stuck in development hell for years, a Preacher adaptation is finally making it to the small screen. AMC has picked up their Preacher pilot to series with a ten episode order. News of the series order first leaked on Twitter. 
After months of marketing the series, AMC's The Walking Dead companion series Fear The Walking Dead opened with a bang on Sunday night. The show's six episode first season opened to a whopping 10.1 million viewers and some 6.3 million viewers in the coveted A18-49 demo. 
Humans is going global. AMC Global has secured exclusive first window television rights to the Channel 4/AMC co-production after striking a deal with international distributor Endemol Shine International, TVWise has learned. The show's eight episode first season will air across AMC Global's international footprint beginning in October, with the just ordered second season to follow in 2016. Channel 4 and AMC have renewed their sci-fi co-production Humans for a second season, the two broadcasters announced on Friday. Eight episodes have been ordered for the show's second season, matching the order for season one. Production is expected to get underway in late 2015, for a 2016 premiere on Channel 4 in the UK and AMC in the United States.

Ten episodes have been ordered for the show's third season, which is expected to air in 2016. AMC has handed out a 10 episode straight-to-series order to Broke, a U.S. adaptation of Danish series Bankerot which hails from Dexter scribe Clyde Phillips and is set up at AMC Studios and Lionsgate Television. Production is expected to commence later this year for a 2016 premiere. 
AMC has released a new trailer for their upcoming Walking Dead spin-off Fear The Walking Dead, which is set to premiere this August (an exact premiere date has not yet been set).
