AMC has renewed period drama Halt & Catch Fire fourth and final season. The pick-up, which is for a further ten episodes, comes shortly before the two-hour season three finale is set to air on the network. 
After a lengthy development process, AMC has handed out a ten episode series order to Lodge 49, an hour-long drama project from Jim Gavin and Paul Giamatti, TVWise has learned. 
Tobias Menzies (Outlander) has been set as one of the leads in The Terror, AMC's ten episode anthology drama based on the novel by Dan Simmons. Picked up straight-to-series, The Terror is set in 1847, when a Royal Naval expedition crew searching for the Northwest Passage is attacked by a mysterious predator that stalks the ships and their crew in a suspenseful and desperate game of survival. 
AMC has cancelled their David Schwimmer fronted drama series Feed The Beast after a single ten episode season, TVWise has confirmed. 
The American revolutionary war is coming to an end. AMC has renewed their revolutionary war drama Turn: Washington's Spies for a ten episode fourth and final season, which is expected to air in 2017. 
AMC has handed out a second season renewal to their comic book adaptation Preacher, TVWise has learned. The network has ordered 13 episodes for the show's second season, up from the ten episodes they ordered for the show's debut run. AMC on Sunday released the key art and a new trailer for Preacher, their upcoming ten episode series adaptation of the controversial comic book series of the same name which is set to premiere in mid-2016. 
AMC has handed out a seventh season renewal to ratings juggernaut The Walking Dead, the network announced on Friday. Sixteen episodes have been ordered for season seven, which is set to premiere next fall.
