Amazon Prime Video Picks Up UK Rights To ‘The Expanse’, Season 3 Gets February Premiere Date

The Expanse is indeed switching streaming services in the UK. When Amazon saved the series from cancellation last year, there was some lingering question about the show's UK home as, at that point, Netflix held UK rights. That question has now been resolved with Amazon Prime Video UK announcing that they've taken exclusive UK rights to the show. Amazon said that the first two seasons would be made available to Prime subscribers in the UK on Friday February 8th. Additionally, the show's thirteen episode third season will also launch on Amazon Prime Video UK on the same day - marking the UK premiere for said season. Season four will then launch day-and-date with the US later in 2019.

Amazon Prime Video UK has secured the UK rights to New Amsterdam after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal International Distribution. The show's first thirteen episodes will be available to stream as of Friday February 8th, with new episodes then being made available to UK Prime subscribers every Wednesday - less than 24 hours after they air state-side.

Amazon Prime Video Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘American Gods’ Season 2

The second season of Starz's American Gods will receive its UK premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK on Monday March 11th, it has been announced. New episodes will continue to be made available to Amazon Prime subscribers in the UK every Monday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on Starz in the United States.
