Amazon Prime Video Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘The Bold Type’ Season 3

The third season of Freeform’s drama series The Bold Type will receive its UK premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK on Wednesday April 10th, it has been announced. New episodes will then continue to be made available to stream every Wednesday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on Freeform in the United States.

Amazon Prime Video UK has secured the streaming rights to all four seasons of Farscape and the two-part follow up mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars from The Jim Henson Company. Amazon has also secured rights in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Nordics and several other countries. The series will debut on the streaming service on Tuesday March 19th - marking the twentieth anniversary of Farscape.

Amazon is sticking with American Gods. Amazon Prime Video UK has picked up the exclusive UK rights to the recently ordered third season of the Starz original drama. The show's second season started airing on the streaming service last week. The pick up is part of a wider agreement inked by Amazon which will see them continue as the international broadcaster for American Gods in more than than 200 countries and territories worldwide. FremantleMedia International is the distributor.

The second season of The Tick will premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK on Friday April 5th, it has been announced. In the show's ten episode second season, Tick (Peter Serafinowicz) and Arthur (Griffin Newman) have freed the City from The Terror — now they must defend it from new villains and old enemies. That is if they can convince AEGIS, the government agency in charge of superhero regulation, that they deserve the job. But now that the City is ‘safe enough to protect’ Tick and Arthur begin to see they’ve got competition.

Amazon Prime Video UK Alters Plans For ‘New Amsterdam’: Episode 13 Now Available; Rest Of Season 1 Held Until May 2019

Amazon Prime Video UK has altered their plans for New Amsterdam. When they acquired the Ryan Eggold fronted NBC medical drama, the streaming service announced that the first twelve episodes would be available from February 8th, with new episodes then following every Wednesday. While the first twelve episodes did appear as expected on February 8th, there was no sign of episode thirteen on Prime on Wednesday February 13th. TVWise has reached out to representatives of Amazon Prime Video UK who have confirmed they will not be releasing episodes weekly as previously announced. The thirteen episode is available to stream for UK Prime member as of today (Monday February 25th) and the rest of the season (episodes 14 - 22) will be available for streaming in May.
