Amazon Prime Video UK has released the teaser trailer and key art for Star Trek: Picard, which is set to premiere later this year. As TVWise previously reported, Amazon scored SVOD rights to the Sir Patrick Stewart fronted series in more than 200 territories in a deal with CBS Studios International earlier this month.

In what is surely a blow to their rival Netflix, Amazon Prime Video UK has secured exclusive rights to the as-yet untitled Star Trek series starring Sir Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard. The acquisition is part of a multi-year deal between Amazon and CBS Studios International that will see the streaming service serve as the series' broadcaster in more than 200 territories. Episodes will be available to stream within 24 hours of their U.S. broadcast.
