Sky1 and Amazon Prime Video US are teaming up to co-produce Britannia, a ten part drama series set during the Roman Empire starring Kelly Reilly (Sherlock Holmes), Zoë Wanamaker (Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone) and David Morrissey (The Walking Dead). 
Amazon has picked up their drama pilot The Last Tycoon, starring Matt Bomer (White Collar) and Kelsey Grammer (Boss), to series, TVWise has confirmed. Ten episodes have been ordered for the show's first season. 
Mere days after Channel 4 ordered a third and fourth season of Catastrophe, Amazon Prime Video has announced that they have picked up the U.S. rights to the new seasons of the Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney fronted comedy series. 
Spectre star Monica Bellucci has booked a guest starring role on the upcoming third season of Amazon's drama series Mozart In The Jungle, TVWise has learned. Bellucci will play Alessandra, an iconic opera star who will become Rodrigo's (Gael Garcia Bernal) next great collaborator. She is as famous for her passionate performances as she is for her erratic life off the stage. After years away from the spotlight, she enlists Rodrigo to conduct her grand return performance. 
Amazon Prime Instant Video's newest original drama series Mad Dogs will premiere on the streaming service in the US, the UK, Germany and Austria on Friday January 22nd, TVWise has learned.
