Amazon Studios has sealed a first look deal with multiple award winner Nicole Kidman and her production company Blossom Films for theatrical, television series, and digital content. The streaming service and Kidman's Blossom will work together to develop original series that will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video globally in over 200 countries and territories, as well as movies that will engage viewers in cinemas.

ITV has teamed up with Amazon Studios to commission a new seven episode adaptation of William Makepeace Thackeray’s Vanity Fair from Victoria and Endeavour indie Mammoth Screen. ITV will serve as the UK broadcaster. Olivia Cooke (Bates Motel) is attached to star.

Amazon has picked up The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, their drama pilot from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, to series with a two-season order, TVWise has learned. This marks the largest series commitment that the streaming service has handed out since entering the originals space with Alpha House in 2013.

Sky Vision has locked down a new U.S. partner for Fortitude. Sky's international sales division has sold the arctic crime drama to Amazon Prime Video in the United States. The first season of the show has been available on the streaming service since last January and the second season - now marketed as an Amazon Original Series - will premiere later this year.
