All3Media International Lines Up International Sales For UKTV’s Nicola Walker Drama ‘Annika’
International distributor All3Media International has lined up a slew of international deals for Annika, the Nicola Walker fronted drama that was co-commissioned by UKTV and PBS Masterpiece back in December 2020. All3Media has now closed pre-sale deals for the series with ABC in Australia, NRK in Norway, DR in Denmark, SVT in Sweden, YLE in Finland, VRT in Belgium, NPO in The Netherlands, and TV+ in Turkey and Cyprus. Co-commissioned PBS Masterpiece has North American rights. UKTV's Alibi will air Annika next month. 
Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan, Vice), Harry Treadaway (The Crown, Star Trek: Picard), Sion Daniel Young (Keeping Faith, Doc Martin), Rochenda Sandall (Line Of Duty, Criminal: UK) and Nathaniel Martello-White (I Hate Suzie, Collateral) have signed on to star opposite Niamh Algar (The Virtues, Raised by Wolves) in Channel 4's Deceit.
Peter Davison (Law & Order: UK), Kriss Dosanjh (Intruder), Amelia Bullmore (Scott & Bailey), Seeta Indrani (Catastrophe), Robert Bathurst (Cold Feet), Stephen Hagan (Lucky Man), Francesca Waterworth, Barney Walsh (Law & Order: UK), Tony Gardner (Last Tango In Halifax) and Selina Griffiths (Dial M For Middlesbrough) have joined the cast of ITV's The Larkins.
UKTV's Alibi channel has teamed with PBS Masterpiece to order Annika, an adaptation of the BBC Radio 4 drama. Nicola Walker (The Split, Unforgotten) is attached to star as lead character Detective Inspector Annika Strandhed.
ITV has renewed their long-running crime drama Midsomer Murders for a twenty-second season. Six episodes have been commissioned for season 22, which has now started filming ahead of a 2021 premiere.
Channel 4 has ordered My Name Is Lizzie, a four episode drama series exploring the high-pressure investigation into the murder of Rachel Nickell in 1992. Niamh Algar (The Virtues, Raised by Wolves) is attached to star.
ITV has ordered Hollington Drive, a four-part thriller that hails from Blood scribe Sophie Petzal and All3Media's scripted label West Road Pictures. Filming is set to get underway later this year.
Miss Fisher is returning to Alibi. The UKTV owned and operated channel has secured the exclusive UK rights to Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries feature film Miss Fisher And The Crypt Of Tears. All3Media International handles global sales for the film. It is being eyed for an April premiere.
