Months After Cancelling It, Sky One Acquires ‘Agatha Raisin’

Well we've come full circle with Agatha Raisin. Months after Sky One officially cancelled the series, prompting U.S. co-production partner Acorn TV to step up and fully commission a second season, Sky One has pre-bought the UK rights to the new season. The deal was struck between Sky and international distributor All3Media International. Sky has also taken rights to the new season in Eire.

Channel 5 & Virgin Media Board Sophie Petzal’s Thriller ‘Blood’ Starring Adrian Dunbar

Channel 5 is adding a new drama series to their line-up. The VIMN backed broadcaster has acquired Blood, a psychological crime thriller from Riviera scribe Sophie Petzal which is being headlined by Line Of Duty's Adrian Dunbar, in a pre-sale deal with All3Media International. Additionally, Virgin Media has licensed the SVOD rights and will make the series available as a box-set following Channel 5's linear window.

In his new role, Graham Spencer will be responsible for overseeing all international sales, of both finished programmes and formats, across EMEA South, with a particular focus on France.

All3Media Lines Up International Sales For ITV’s ‘Safe House’

Safe HouseAll3Media has lined up a slew of international sales for ITV's Safe House, starring Christopher Eccleston (Doctor Who) and Marsha Thomason (White Collar). The international distributor has sold the four-part drama to French broadcaster France 3, German public broadcaster ZDF, TV4 in Sweden, TV2 in Denmark, NRK in Norway, VRT in Flemish Belgium, HRT in Croatia, UTV in Eire, BBC First in Australia, TV3 in New Zealand and Wowow for Japan. ITV International Channels has also acquired Safe House for their pan-Asian and African feeds.

BBC One’s Agatha Christie Series ‘Partners In Crime’ Goes Global

BBC One's Agatha Christie adaptation Partners In Crime is going global. International distributor all3media International has sold the six episode series to a slew of international broadcasters including NHK in Japan, ABC in Australia, Sky in New Zealand, BBC Global across Africa, TV2 in Norway, TV4 in Sweden, DR TV in Denmark, RUV in Iceland, HRT in Croatia, VRT in Flemish speaking Belgium and Ale Kino in Poland. Acorn TV previously acquired the U.S. streaming rights to Partners In Crime.
