Channel 4 Acquires ‘Freaks And Geeks’ & ‘Anger Management’ For All 4

Channel 4 is adding two U.S. box-sets to All 4. The broadcaster has acquired both Freaks And Geeks and FX's Charlie Sheen fronted comedy series Anger Management for their VOD service. The complete series of Freaks And Geeks launches on All 4 tomorrow (Friday November 15th), while Anger Management will be available next Friday (November 22nd).

All 4 Acquires ‘Light As A Feather’ In Deal With VIMN, Sets April Premiere

All 4 has acquired the UK rights to AwesomenessTV's Light As A Feather after striking a deal with international distributor Viacom International Media Networks. The series will launch on All 4 on Monday April 1st. Light As A Feather follows four best friends who invite the shy new girl out on Halloween, but they soon regret their decision when she suggests they play a seemingly innocent game of ‘Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board’. The game goes awry when the five girls start dying off in the exact way that was predicted, forcing the survivors to figure out why they’ve been targeted – and whether the evil force hunting them down is one of their own.

Channel 4 and Turner recently announced a bumper deal to bring Adult Swim to the UK. That included linear premieres on Channel 4 and E4 as well as hundreds of hours of box sets on VOD service All 4. This week sees the linear premiere of Rick & Morty on E4 on Friday (February 15th) and on that same day the first wave of Adult Swim box-set content will hit All 4. Key titles launching on Channel 4's VOD service that day includes Robot Chicken, Mr. Pickles and UK premiere title Mostly 4 Millennials.

Channel 4 Inks Turner Deal For UK Rights To ‘Rick & Morty’, Creates Adult Swim Block On E4

Channel 4 has inked a bumper deal with Turner that gives them the exclusive UK rights to the fourth season of Rick & Morty. The agreement also gives the broadcaster rights to hundreds of hours of Adult Swim content. The first three seasons of Rick & Morty will get their free-to-air premiere on E4 from next month, while the show's fourth season will air on Channel 4 later in the year.

Channel 4 has acquired VOD rights to cult comedy series Community from international distributor Sony Pictures Television with plans to make all six seasons available on their VOD platform All 4 this summer. The "first few" seasons will be available on Monday July 23rd, with subsequent seasons being made available in August.
