CBC is sticking with William Murdoch and the Toronto Constabulary. In announcing their 2015-2016 schedule, the Canadian public broadcaster today confirmed that they had renewed hit period drama Murdoch Mysteries for a ninth season. CBC has ordered 18 episodes for the show's ninth season, which is set to premiere this Fall.

UKTV Posts Ratings Growth Of 8.5% In 2014, SOCI Surges To 9%

Across 2014, UKTV saw its average audience share across its 10 channels grow to 5.07%, up by 8.5% on the 4.67% audience share that the network registered in 2013. Meanwhile, on the back of that ratings growth, UKTV also saw their SOCI (share of commercial impacts) surge to 9%, up fairly considerably on last year's record of 8.2%.
