True Blood star Anna Paquin has signed on for a co-starring role opposite Sarah Gadon in Alias Grace, the six episode miniseries adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel which is set up as a co-production between Netflix and Canadian public broadcaster CBC. She will play Nancy Montgomery, who is Kinnear’s housekeeper and lover, and while she initially befriends Grace, she begins to resent Grace and becomes increasingly jealous of Kinnear’s affection for her. Netflix & CBC have found the lead for their co-production Alias Grace.
