Just as the show's second season is set to debut on this side of the pond on IMDb TV, Alex Rider is getting a second UK home. E4 has secured the UK rights to Eleventh Hour Films and Sony Pictures Television Alex Rider TV series, with the show's first season set to premiere on the channel on Sunday December 19th at 8pm. 
The second season of Alex Rider will receive its UK premiere on Amazon's free streaming service IMDb TV on Friday December 3rd, it has been announced. Alex Rider has found a UK home. Amazon Prime Video has acquired the UK rights to Eleventh Hour Films and Sony Pictures Television Alex Rider TV series. The series will premiere on the streaming service on Thursday June 4th. Eleventh Hour Films and Sony Pictures Television have released three first look images and trailer for their upcoming Alex Rider TV series, which is based on Anthony Horowitz’s novels. At present there is no UK broadcaster attached to the project. 
Eleventh Hour Films and Sony Pictures Television have found their Alex Rider. Otto Farrant (Mrs Wilson, War and Peace) has been cast as the lead in the eight-episode young-adult drama series, which is based on Anthony Horowitz’s Alex Rider novels. 
Das Boot helmer Andreas Prochaska has been tapped to direct Alex Rider, the TV series adaptation of Anthony Horowitz's young adult novel series that is set up at Eleventh Hour Films and Sony Pictures Television.
