SYFY UK Acquires History’s UFO Drama ‘Project Blue Book’

SYFY UK has secured the exclusive UK rights to History's scripted drama Project Blue Book after striking a deal with international distributor A+E Networks. The show's ten episode first season is set to premiere on SYFY UK next month. Project Blue Book follows Dr. J Allen Hynek, a brilliant yet underappreciated college professor, who is recruited by the US Air Force to spearhead a clandestine operation called “Project Blue Book.” Along with his partner, Captain Michael Quinn, Hynek is summoned to investigate UFO sightings around the country and uses science to discover what really happened.

History UK Acquires A&E’s ‘The Clinton Affair’, Sets December Premiere

The Clinton Affair is crossing the pond. History UK has secured the UK rights to A&E's six-episode Clinton impeachment documentary series from sister company A+E Networks. The series will receive its UK premiere on History UK on Saturday December 8th at 9pm with a double-bill.

History UK Acquires SEAL Team Drama Series ‘Six’

Six is getting a second UK home. History UK has secured second window rights to the SEAL Team drama starring Walton Goggins (JustifiedThe Shield) after striking an agreement with international distributor A+E Networks. This deal has no impact on the prior licensing agreement between Channel 5 and A+E Networks. C5's 5Spike retains first window rights to Six and are expected to air the show's second season later this year. The  first season of Six will premiere on History UK on Sunday June 24th at 10pm.

5Spike Acquires History’s SEAL Team Drama Series ‘Six’

5Spike (formerly known simply as Spike) has picked up the UK rights to History's SEAL Team drama series Six after striking a deal with international distributor A+E Networks. The eight episode first season is set to premiere on the channel in early 2018.

Hulu Acquires Exclusive SVOD Rights To ‘Roots’

RootsHulu has taken the exclusive SVOD rights to the recent Roots reboot after striking a wide-ranging deal with A+E Networks, the two companies announced on Tuesday. Roots will be available to stream on Hulu later this year.
