UPDATE, April 5th: As a result to a change in scheduling for the back end of the third season of Fresh Off The Boat, the UK premiere for the show's fourth season is being pushed. Season 3 returns to 5Star with the sixteenth episode on Monday April 16th at 5pm. No word on a new premiere date for season four. 
Empire will return to 5Star to finish airing its fifth season from Monday April 15th at 11:20pm, it has been announced. 
5Star's ten part drama series Clink will premiere on Thursday April 18th at 9pm, it has been announced. Fresh Off The Boat will return to 5Star to finish airing its third season from Wednesday March 27th at 5:30pm, it has been announced. In the next new episode, titled How To Be An American, during Jessica's U.S. citizenship interview, she reveals shocking details about her past that even Louis was not aware of. Meanwhile, Eddie, Emery and Evan have a day off from school and attempt to take the family minivan out for a joyride. 
The second season of Riverdale will premiere on 5Star on Monday January 7th at 5pm and will then air daily in the same time-slot, it has been announced. The fifth season of Empire will receive its UK premiere on 5Star on Thursday October 18th at 10pm , it has been announced. 
5Star has renewed Rich Kids Go Skint for an expanded second season of twelve episodes. Additionally, Channel 5's youth-skewing digi-net has handed out a two episode series order to Prison Life: Raw & Real. 
Channel 5 is moving forward with their push into scripted drama. Fresh off of ordering four-part drama Cold Call and acquiring the Adrian Dunbar fronted Blood, the VIMN backed broadcaster has green-lit Clink, 15 Days and a new feature-length murder mystery. The drama push was a big factor in the recent decision to cancel Big Brother, which has freed up a significant amount of cash from the programming budget for said push.
