ITV Cancels ‘Wild Bill’ After One Season
It's one and done for Wild Bill. ITV has cancelled the Rob Lowe fronted series after a single six episode season, TVWise has confirmed. The series wrapped its run on the channel back in July 2019. BBC Radio Lincolnshire were the first to report the news.
ITV has released the trailer for their Rob Lowe fronted police drama Wild Bill, which is set to premiere next month. Wild Bill follows high-flying US cop Bill Hixon, who is appointed Chief Constable of the East Lincolnshire Police Force. When he lands in Boston, Lincolnshire, with his 14 year-old daughter Kelsey in tow, he’s hoping they can flee their painful recent past. But this unfamiliar, unimpressed community will force Bill to question everything about himself and leave him asking whether it’s Boston that needs Bill, or Bill that needs Boston?
Channel 4 has released three first-look images from their new spy thriller Traitors, which is set to premiere in 2019.
Rachael Stirling (The Bletchley Circle, Detectorists), Angela Griffin (Ordinary Lies, Brief Encounters), Tony Pitts (Peaky Blinders, Line Of Duty) and Bronwyn James (Harlots, The ABC Murders) have joined the cast of ITV's Rob Lowe (The West Wing) fronted police drama Wild Bill.
