FOX UK Import ’24: Legacy’ Cancelled After One Season
24: Legacy is not getting a second season. U.S. broadcaster Fox has cancelled the latest entry in the 24 franchise after a single twelve episode season. While the series, starring Corey Hawkins, wont be returning, Fox is not quite done with the franchise. The network is actively considering an anthology take, which, while retaining the real-time format, would feature a new cast and story-line each season. Fox is understood to be in preliminary talks with Howard Gordon about this new anthological iteration.

Fox is bringing back a major character for 24: Legacy. Carlos Bernard, who played CTU's Tony Almeida on the original 24 series, has signed on to reprise the role in the 12 episode spin-off series, it was announced today at New York Comic Con.
Fox is adding to the cast of 24: Legacy. Veronica Cartwright (Resurrection, Bosch) and Laith Nakli (The Blacklist, Blindspot) have joined the latest iteration of the 24 franchise. Veronica Carthwright is a series regular, while while Laith Nakli will be a recurring cast member.
