Disney+’s Star Acquires UK Rights To ‘The Wonder Years’, ‘Pam & Tommy’, ‘Maggie’ & More
Star is adding to their 2021 slate. The Disney+ brand has picked up the UK rights to a plethora of series including ABC's The Wonder Years reboot, Hulu's Pam & Tommy and ABC's comedy series Maggie. 
Fresh off of news that they are working on a Hawkeye TV series, Disney+ is developing a TV series based on Fox 2000's hit LGBT film Love, Simon. It is set up at the now Disney-owned 20th Century Fox Television.
Fox has handed out a back nine order to their Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife, Gilmore Girls) fronted medical drama The Resident. The show's second season will now consist of twenty-two episodes. That is up from the fourteen episodes that comprised season one.
Universal Channel has sealed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Fox's Matt Czuchry (The Good Wife) and Emily VanCamp (Revenge) fronted medical drama The Resident. The series is presently eyed for an April premiere.
After months of prolonged negotiations, Fox has officially pulled the trigger and renewed The X-Files for an eleventh season. The network has opted for a longer run for this second revival season, ordering ten episodes, up from the six that comprised season ten.
