Showtime and BBC Two have renewed their Matt le Blanc fronted comedy series Episodes for a fifth season, TVWise has learned. Nine episodes have been ordered for the new season, matching the episode orders the show has received since its sophomore run back in 2012. Production on season five is set to get underway in London in 2016.
Less than 24 hours after outstripping Spartacus to become Starz's highest rated original series, the network has picked up a third season of their hour-long drama series Power, starring 50 Cent. 10 episodes have been ordered for the show's third season, which is slated to premiere in 2016.
ABC is the second broadcast network to set premiere dates for their fall line-up. Just like CBS, most of the network's shows are launching during the traditional premiere week, with Castle kicking off its eighth season on September 21st, and the Shonda Rhimes TGIF block of Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder returning on September 24th.
